Winter Reflections~ From the Traveler's Journal~

Winter is in full swing here in one of New York's snowiest winters of the past few years. A wonderful gift for the seeker to sit in introspection. The knowledge, growth and the opportunity to live here for the first time has been quite the surprise. I have been learning more American History as it relates to such freedom movements and political concerns. Intriguing indeed, as it relates to the movement towards zero emissions, food and farming and our human rights. From this context, I am feeling more understanding as to my role here now. I see the healing the families of origins initial separation from countries as it also is connected to the happiness and freedom of America. Insights towards shifting to revolutionary inventions and self-sustainability yet in unity are growing quickly. This feels exciting to be a part of change, a lot of persistence necessary. I set intentions of gentleness. A quick glance back in my personal history of travel living. It has been nearly 13 years since my last visit to NY. Now, I have been here since Christmas Eve. What a paradox to say the least previously traveling from Pacific North West to the Heartland of Nebraska. In the Pacific NW, I had been living three years in Washington. (My dream state for sure) I journeyed to Montana for more unfolding of deeper layers of self awareness. I was guided to a Gathering in the National Forest. It was here that I communed with earth keepers, yogis, herbalists and such. More signs, synchronicities and connections led to not only an educational experience but deeply towards profound expansion that will be with me throughout my life. As reflections for more heart opening and compassion, the land and her stewards truly shined as my next teachers. I landed next to a mobile monastic community. This had finally appeared as a life reality. This had been a dream. This was a learning experience for the type of work we were engaged. The growth gained is far more beneficial beyond the scope of the hardships endured. I am left deeply grateful, content and more prepared for the next union.
